High-head bluebill hen, Harry Heck, Valleyfield, Quebec, 2nd quarter 20th century.
Slightly forward head position. Heavy relief feather carving. 'HH' carved in underside.
CONDITION: Appealing in use repaint with minor wear; lightly hit by shot; a wooden patch on each side near tail.
Provenance: Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.
