Hollow carved canvasback, Charles Reeves, Long Point, Ontario, circa 1910.
Body covered in canvas. Branded ‘JT Pratt’ on underside. Also ‘WBD’ for Long Point member Watson B. Dickerman.
CONDITION: Very early working repaint with moderate flaking and wear; lightly hit by shot; tiny chip in tip of wood tail.
Provenance: Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.
