Rigmate pair of bluebills, George Althouse, West Lake, Ontario, 1st quarter 20th century.
Thinly hollowed with 1/4" bottom boards and slightly turned head on hen. Intricate comb feather paint detail on both,
CONDITION: Original paint with minor wear; overpaint on head and breast of each; hen's bill appears to have been reshaped a long time ago; each with an in the making crack in the side that was tightened with nails.
