Description

Pair of redheads, Charles De Bolt, Turkey Point, Ontario, circa 1900.

Solid body with raised neck seats and nicely carved heads.  Comb feather paint on back of drake.  De Bolt carved for Long Point Company.  

CONDITION:  Original paint with moderate crazing and wear; head on hen is loose and has a replaced eye; small dents and shot marks; some strengthening to the paint on sides of each.

Provenance:  Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.
