Magnum canvasback drake, David W. Nichol, Smith Falls, Ontario, 2nd quarter 20th century.
Relief wing tip and incised feather carving. 1 of 18 carved on special order for Ozzie Cox of the Smith Marsh Duck Club near Long Point. 'OCOX' stamped into underside. Measures 17" long and 7 1/2" wide.
CONDITION: Original paint with moderate discoloration and wear; tight crack in breast and one lower side with touch up; some flaking to neck filler.
