Goldeneye drake, George 'Beany' Anderson, Trenton, Ontario, circa 1935.

Excellent folk carved head similar to Amos Wheaton of New Jersey.

CONDITION:  Original paint with minor discoloration and wear; moderately hit by shot, otherwise very good structurally; some of the white is thicker than other areas of white, so may be an early second coat but may have been done when the decoy was made; no paint in any shot marks.

Provenance:  Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.

($400 - $600)
