Description
Thinly hollowed black duck similar to the work of John R. Wells, Toronto, Ontario, circa 1900.
1/4" bottom board and raised neck seat. Measures 17" long.
CONDITION: Mix of original paint and in use repaint with moderate wear; defect in wood on back and one side of breast; small dents and shot marks; hairline carck in neck.
Provenance: Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.
