Description
Mallard hen attributed to John Merango, New Jersey, 2nd quarter 20th century.
Hollow carved with three piece body similar to William Quinn. Raised 'v' wing tip carving. Measures 16" long.
CONDITION: Mix of original paint and early in use repaint; small dents, otherwise very good structurally.
Provenance: Roger Mallar estate. Was lot 561 in Guyette & Schmidt's July 2004 auction.
