Pair of canvasbacks, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
Premier grade Seneca Lake model with glass eyes and incised bill carving. Hen witth loop feather paint on back. Measures 16 1/2" long.
CONDITION: Original paint with moderate wear; moderately hit by shot; minor roughness on dowel at top of head; hairline crack in one of hen's eyes; drake's eyes are replaced; four spots of touch up on drake's back and tail; two filled and touched up cracks in drake's neck.
