Description

Pair of mallards, John Baker, Bristol, Pennsylvania, 2nd half 20th century.

Hollow carved with raised ‘V’ wing tip carving and incised feather carving.  Drake in low head pose and hen in rare preening pose.  Both signed on the lead weights.  Measure 14 1/2” and 15 1/2” long.

CONDITION:  Original paint with minor wear and discoloration from a thin coat of varnish; small dents, otherwise both a very good structurally.
