Description

Pair of mallards, Burleigh Brothers, Toronto, Ontario, 2nd quarter 20th century.

Relief wing carving and scratch feather paint.  Slightly turned heads.  Never rigged or weighted.  Measure 17" long.

CONDITION:  Both are excellent and original; drake has a filled crack in the back from when it was made; drake's neck and head are made with two pieces of wood.

Provenance:  Peter Brown collection to the benefit of DU Canada.
