Description

Hollow carved black duck from Illinois, circa 1920's.

Hollow carved deep V body shape with raised neck seat and detailed bill carving.  Very similar and possibly by Charles Perdew, Henry, Illinois.  Measures 16 1/2" long.

CONDITION:  Old overpaint taken down to much of the original surface with minor discoloration and wear; chip in tail; filler added to some of body seam and to a chip near breast; small amount of filler added to neck seat; minor roughness at bill tip.
