Pair of canvasbacks and a mallard, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
All hollow carved Premier grade with glass eyes and detailed bill carving. Mallard has had a brand gouged out of the underside.
CONDITION: Canvasbacks have old in use repaint with minor wear; drake has a hairline drying crack through one side of head and upper bill; mallard is in a mix of original (head and back) and old repaint (breast and sides) with moderae discoloration and wear; tail chip; one eye is missing; nails added in top and back of head to secure it on.
