Silhouette yellowlegs, Elmer Crowell, East Harwich, Massachusetts, 1st quarter 20th century.

Flattie with split tail carving and carrying hole in back.  

CONDITION:  Original paint on body with very minor wear; head is a replacement; chip in one side of carrying hole from before the decoy was painted.

Provenance:  From the same consignor as the exceptional pairs of plovers and yellowlegs sold recently by Guyette & Deeter.
