Description
Rare redbreasted merganser hen, William Pratt Co., Chicago, Illinois, circa 1930.
Hollow carved, Premier grade with glass eyes and finely sanded body and head. Very similar to work of the Mason Decoy Factory.
CONDITION: Original paint with moderate flaking and wear, mostly to head, breast, and one side; loss to knot in back; old nails in one side of head to secure an age crack; early touch up to speculums.
