Pintail hen, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
Snakey head with detailed bill carving and glass eyes. Solid body branded 'AL.M' twice in underside.
CONDITION: Old overpaint was taken down to a surface with much wear; lightly hit by shot; filled crack in back from when the decoy was made; bill is replaced; head is loose.
