Cork black duck, Elijah Burr, Hingham, Massachusetts, last quarter 19th century.
Wide body of laminated cork construction with relief carved wings and round inlet neck seat. Slightly turned head with stylized relief carved detail. Measures 15" long.
CONDITION: In use repaint with minor to moderate flaking and wear; small dents in body; head is doweled through the body and is removable.
