Description
Swimming brant in the style of Nathan Cobb, 3rd to 4th quarter 20th century.
In swimming pose with large neck seat. Relief carved wing tips and carved eyes. Inset hardwood bill dowelled to the back of the head. 'N' carved in underside. Measures 20" long.
CONDITION: Painted and stressed to appear older; drying cracks and splits in body and back of neck; staple added to back to secure crack.
