Description
Merganser from New England, circa 1930's.
Probably from Maine. Chip carved with three cork filled holes in underside. Wedges of wood added to neck seat in the making to change head position. Measures 13 1/2" long.
CONDITION: Original paint with minor discoloration and wear; tight crack in one side of body; small chip in tip of bill; flaked neck filler.
