Cork blackduck, attributed to George Soule, Freeport, Maine, circa 1950.
Cork body with 1/4 inch bottom board and inserted wood tail. Carved in preening pose with detailed bill carving and carved eyes. Measures just over 19 inches.
CONDITION: Original paint with minor wear and small loses to cork; thin tight cracks in body.
